CHAIR EXERCISE
Chair exercises are an excellent way to build strength and improve flexibility without putting too much strain on your body. Chair exercises also improve senior mobility by increasing blood flow and lubricating your joints. Whether you’re recovering from an illness or you’re more permanently mobility impaired, chair exercises can help you stay active safely. Class does not have a live instructor. Monday (Stretch) and Friday (Strength) at 9:45am-10:45am. Wednesday (CORE) at 11-11:45am. Classes are FREE |
CRAFTS
It is good to keep the mind and hands working. Coordination can slow down if it is not used regularly. CRAFTS is a great way to practice coordination and creativity. Also a fun way to converse with others and to recycle or learn something NEW. TUESDAY 10am - 11:45pm. Class is FREE DONATIONS are gladly accepted. We have a shortage of storage, so before buying crafts, let us know what they are and how many you have. We typically have up to 10+ people, so we try to take donations that everyone can participate in and are NEW. Due to COVID, bed bugs, and other pests, we are not permitted to take stuff that has been stored and/or used. If you have any questions, contact [email protected] or call Teresa McCollum at 252-638-1790. |
